About
Two friends, an unpublished book, and an idea
That the Arabic mind deserves puzzles in its own language, from its own culture, and at the level of what its peers read around the world.
The book that became an app
We are two Tunisian friends who share one passion: mathematics, the Arabic language and puzzles. We wrote a book of puzzles that was never published, and this app was born out of that book and grew beyond it: its puzzles, its library and its philosophy.
Why in Arabic?
The puzzles were made by Arab hands for the Arab reader: from our poetry, our grammar, our heritage, our landmarks and our history, with windows on other cultures and civilisations.
For whom?
For everyone from nine to ninety-nine. The puzzles climb from easy to demanding, and whoever does not yet have what the hardest need will find it in the library: simple explanations that build the idea step by step.
The idea: a library that prepares you, and a real challenge
The Supreme Challenge is not a book to page through, nor a test. It is a place for attentive thinking.
- The libraryShort articles that take you around the world, read at your own pace: no counter, no score.
- The puzzlesEach puzzle has its own time and its attempts depend on the section; after the solution, an explanation teaches the way of thinking.
- The levelFour levels, the same puzzles: what changes is the time you give yourself and, with it, when help arrives in the puzzles that have help.
From the book
- Two kinds of puzzle the Arabic reader has rarely seenDitloids and letter ordering.
- From Diophantus’s epitaph to Ramanujan’s problemFamous classic challenges, in Arabic.
- More than a hundred sayings from Arabic poetry and the wisdom of the worldIn “Who said it?”: listen for the voice.
