Why did a puzzle close for an hour?
In the puzzles, time is limited and attempts are counted. When the time runs out or the attempts are spent, the puzzle closes for a full hour — not as a punishment, but as an invitation to think before answering. Meanwhile the library and the other puzzles stay open.
How do I change the level?
In the settings, at any time; it applies from the next round. The level does not change the puzzles; it changes the time you give yourself: Gentle, twice the time; Normal, the usual time; Hard, less time; Extreme, half the time.
Are there hints?
The app never hands you the answer. Each section has its library — articles and exercises that build a way of thinking — and no article tells you which puzzle it solves. After a solve, “explain” walks you through the reasoning.
Progress and devices
Where is my progress kept?
On your device only, with no account or server; your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google) carries it to a new phone. Deleting the app deletes your progress, and you can erase it yourself in the settings.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. The puzzles and articles are on your device; the internet is used only for updates and to download the full edition after buying it.
The daily reminder
In the settings: one reminder a day, at the time you choose, scheduled on your device. Turn it off whenever you like.
Editions
What is the difference between the free and the full edition?
The free edition has 119 puzzles and 55 articles from all twelve kinds. The full edition is the whole book: 650 puzzles and 250 articles, in one payment — no subscription, and no advertising in either edition.
How do I buy the full edition?
The purchase opens with the app's launch, from “Full edition” in the settings, through the App Store or Google Play.
And the Ramadan section?
It appears by itself when the month begins: a puzzle and an article for every night, in full in both editions.
Privacy
Does the app collect data about me?
No account, no advertising, no tracking, no statistics about your play. If the app stops because of an error, it sends a technical crash report, without your name or your progress. Details in the privacy policy.
